Nick Cody

Nick Cody is the architect of “ Music for the Head and Heart” and  founder member of The Small Change Diaries,  as well as a writer, blogger, creator of “The Original Ukulele Songs” (OUS) platform and He is known for writing sharp observational topical lyrics and social commentary with a love for original music.

He is a multi-instrumentalist playing all manner of stringed instruments including tenor guitar, guitarelle, acoustic and electric guitars, numerous ukuleles, mandola, and mandolin.  When not traveling the globe, he works to support 2 demanding cats, Charlie and Phoebe at  his Yorkshire home.

“Darrel (Daz In The Hat) Hull has had a passion for music all of his life and got involved in independent music after attending regular open mic nights on the Bradford & Leeds music scene several years ago.

Two years in a row Daz has been nominated as Outstanding Independent Contributor in Yorkshire Gig Guides prestigious Grass Roots Awards, and is well known & respected by those involved in independent scenes far & wide for supporting and promoting upcoming artists. He broadcasts two podcasts which feature independent, unsigned singers & bands from all around the world.

Hat Tracks is a weekly two hours music show which includes Album & Artist of the month, nominated & voted for by the listeners plus Spotlight on a singer/band worth looking out for. Daz welcomes submissions of songs & albums through his website.

Hat Chats is an interview based podcast where Daz is in conversation with artists around the globe, he also covers open mic nights & music clubs.

Daz also works as booking agent for a local micro bar as well as hosting/comparing gigs & festivals.
